OUR STORY

Born from a question about

light and material

Can a wall light feel like an architectural object — not an appliance?

Our Beginnings

Designed and hand-cast
on the Gold Coast

Arcèe was born from a conviction that lighting should feel as permanent and considered as the walls it illuminates. By choosing glass fibre reinforced concrete and minimal form, we set out to create lighting that feels material-first and spatially refined.

Every piece is cast in small batches in our Gold Coast studio. No mass production. No shortcuts. Just hands, moulds, and concrete.

The Material

GFRC — strong, subtle,
tactile in texture

Glass Fibre Reinforced Concrete allows us to cast thin, crisp edges with a weightless presence. It delivers the beauty of natural concrete with exceptional durability and a fraction of the weight.

Material nuance is part of our design language — variation in tone, texture, and surface character is inherent, deliberate, and celebrated.

We think in form.
We think in light.

Arcèe rejects ornamentation. We design in terms of space and surface and the way shadows behave. Each piece is shaped to cast light with intention — upward, downward, or both — creating ambient warmth that anchors a room.

For interiors and architectural settings where light matters.
